Description
On the Kenai Peninsula, flows W to Eleshansky Cove, 5.6 km (3.5 mi) SE of Claw Peak, in Chugach NF.
History
Named for Frenchy Eleshansky who smoked salmon here in the early 1900's. Local name reported in 1912 by Grant and Higgins (1913, pl. 1), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
