Description
Berg Lake is located at 1961 terminus of Steller Glacier, 1 mi. SE of Doughton Peak and 66 mi. E of Cordova, Chugach Mts.
History
The local name First Berg Lake was reported in 1905 by G. C. Martin (1908, pl. 2), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). It applied originally to the largest and most western of the Berg Lakes.
