Description
Junction Island is located off N tip of Chenega I., at junction of Knight Island Passage and Dangerous Passage, 34 mi. SE of Whittier, Chugach Mts.
History
So named in 1933 by a US@C&GS field party "because it marks the junction of Dangerous Passage and Knight Island Passage."
