Description
Castle Island Slough is located distributary of Copper River, 20 mi. SE of Cordova, Malaspina Coastal Plain. 8 miles long.
History
Local name derived from the island situated at the mouth of the stream, reported in 1903 by G. C. Martin (1905, pl. 2), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
