Copper Mountain Peninsula is located extends into N edge of Port Fidalgo, 35 mi. NW of Cordova, Chugach Mts. 3 miles long.
History
Local name derived from nearby Copper Mountain, reported in 1909 by Grant and Higgins (1910, pl. 2), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
