Box Point is located on SE coast of Montague I., 1 mi. NE of Patton Bay, 75 mi. SE of Seward, Chugach Mts.
History
So named by a 1934 U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) field party "because of its box-like appearance."
