Shepard Point is located on NE shore of Orca Inlet, 3 mi. SW of Rude River delta, 7 mi. NE of Cordova, Chugach Mts.
History
Local name "for the salmon cannery there" reported by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1931.
