Description
Galena Bay is located on SE shore of Valdez Arm, 45 mi. NW of Cordova, Chugach Mts. 1.5 miles long.
History
So named by Captain W. R. Abercrombie, USA, in 1898 because of the occurence of galena (lead ore) on its shores.
