Whalen Bay is located at E end of Port Fidalgo, 25 mi. NW of Cordova, Chugach Mts.
History
Named for a local miner and reported in 1908 by U. S. Grant (in Brooks and others, 1909, pl. 4), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
