Description
Crooked Creek is located heads at confluence of Flat and Donlin Creeks, flows SE to Kuskokwim River SW of village of Crooked Creek, 33 mi. WNW of Sleetmute, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts. 30 miles long.
History
Local name reported by the Alaska Road Commission on its 1923 map. In 1910 C. G. Anderson, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), reported the native name as "Nowat River."
