Kiglapak Mountains is located trend W 2.5 mi. from junction of Sphinx Creek and Tunulik River, 4 mi. NW of Goodnews; Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.

History

Eskimo name reported to mean "big saw tooth mountains," which refers to the rugged character of the mountains. obtained about 1951 by J. M. Hoare, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), from C. B. Michael, missinary at Quinhagak.
