Description
Takechak (historical) is located on left side of mouth of Takechak Creek, on Nelson I., 96 mi. W of Bethel, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.
History
Former Eskimo village now used as a camp. According to U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1951, "A grave or two are the only signs of former habitation." This may be the same place referred to as "Tak-chak."
