Description
Red Devil is located population 152, on left bank of Kuskokwim River at mouth of Red Devil Creek, 6 mi. NW of Sleetmute, Kilbuck-Kuskokwim Mts.
History
Mining town named for the mercury mine near which it is built; published in 1950 by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). A post office was established here in 1957.
