Dooksook Lagoon is located at mouth of Dooksook River, 43 mi. NW of Cape Mendenhall on SW coast of Nunivak I. 1.4 miles long.

Eskimo name obtained in 1949 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
