Description
Beacon Point is located on left bank of Kuskokwim River at Eek Channel, 52 mi. SW of Bethel, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta.
History
This was called "Weber Point" on an 1898 field sheet by W. S. Post, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Named Beacon Point in 1914 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS).
