Description
Lake George is located formed by the combination of Lower, Inner and Upper Lake George at high water level in July, 28 mi. SE of Palmer; Chugach Mountains.
History
Name published on Sleem's Map of Central Alaska in 1910. The lake was first shown on the Tenth Census map of Alaska by Ivan Petroof (Petroff) in 1880. See Inner Lake George, Lower Lake George, Upper Lake George.
