1.4 mi. S of Sixmile Lake and 4.4 mi. NE of Anchorage, Cook Inlet Low. 14.6 acres in size. Maximum depth is 21 feet. Volume is 184.1 acre feet.
History
Local name reported in 1942 by Army Map Service (AMS); named for Onni Tuomi, a Finnish family who homesteaded here in the 1920's. The name "tuomi" means "chokecherry."
