2 mi. SE of Moraine Pass, trends NE 1.3 mi. to its terminus near head of Raven Creek, 28 mi. SE of Anchorage, Chugach Mts.
History
So named in 1932 by a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) field party "because the ice is unusually clear ."
