Description
Crater Hill is located on west-central St. Paul I., in Pribilof Islands.
History
Name published in 1875 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS); probably obtained from Elliott (1881, St. Paul map) who was there in 1873-74. It is so named because it is reported to be an extinct volcanic crater.
