Description
Ringgold Island is located on W coast of Adak I. in Bay of Islands, Aleutian Islands.
History
Named in 1936 by the U.S. Navy Hydrographic Office, for Captain Cadwalader Ringgold, U.S. Navy (USN), Commander of the North Pacific Exploring Expedition in 1855.
