Description
Lion Rock is located in Lion Bight on SW coast of Unalaska I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Descriptive name given by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1938, "because, when seen from the southwest it has the appearance of a crouching lion."
