One of Andreanof Islands., immediately E of Adak Island, Aleutian Islands.
History
Aleut name published by F. P. Lutke (1835, p. 321). The Russians published it as "O(strov) Kagalasksa," or "Kagalaksa Island" (Tebenkov, 1852, map 28).
