Description
Dushkot Island is located in Beaver Inlet, on E coast of Unalaska I., Aleutian Islands. 0.4 mile long.
History
Name published by Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 14), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), "O(strov) Dushkhot" or "Dushkot Island." The name may have been derived from the Aleut word "daxtuk" meaning "kidney."
