Description
Camel Rock is located on S shore of Nikolski Bay, SW side of Umnak I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Named in 1938 by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), "because when seen from the east, the rock resembles a kneeling camel."
