History
Name published by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF) in 1888. Lieutenant Sarichev (1826, map 14), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), called it "Amchik" or "Amtchik." It was also published, in 1869, by US@C&GS as "East Point."
