Description
Cape Amagalik is located on SW coast of Tanaga I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Aleut name published by Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 28) as "M(ys) Amagalik." R.H. Geoghegan thought this name to be derived from "hamaghalik," meaning "has come to be."
