Description
In the Aleutian Islands, on the S coast of Amchitka Island, 1 mi S of Makarius Bay and 1.4 mi NW of Grampus Point.
History
Named by personnel of the USS Oglala in 1935, in the belief that Amchitka Island was the island Vitus Bering saw and named Saint Makarius in 1741.
