Murder Point is located at W entrance to Massacre Bay, on SE coast of Attu I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Name published in 1943 by Army Map Service (AMS) and shown as "Murder (Little Mike_ Point" in the 1944 Aleutian Coast Pilot (p. 133); originally named by the Russians "Krasnoy Mys" meaning "red cape" (Sarichev, 1826, map 13). See Krasni Point.
