Description
Chuniksak Point is located on S coast of Attu I., between Abraham and Nevidiskov Bay, Aleutian Islands.
History
Aleut name published by Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 30), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), as "m(ys) Chuniksak" or "Cape Chuniksak." The name was shown as "Ekdokuch Point" on manuscript map by L. M. Turner made in the 1880's.
