Description
Gannet Cove is located on W coast of Adak I., on E shore of Expedition Harbor in Bay of Islands, Aleutian Islands. 0.5 mile wide.
History
Named in 1934 by members of the U.S. Navy Aleutian Island Survey Expedition, for the U.S.S. Gannet, one of the ships of the expedition.
