History
Russian name given by the navigator Ingenstrem in 1830. Captain Lutke (1836, p. 324), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), called it "Kirilovskaia," as did Captain Tebenkov (1852, map 30), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN).
