History
Aleut name, published as "Atniliak Ile" by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 267), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN). Described by Father Veniaminov (1836, p. 255) as oblong and low, with a long cape and a lake. The exact location of this island is unknown.
