Atkins Island is located in Shumagin Island NE of Little Koniuji I., Aleutian Range. 2 miles long.
History
Named about 1880 by W. H. Dall, U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), for the fishing schooner Minnie G. Atkins.
