Talus Point is located on SE coast of Akutan I., 5 mi. S of Akutan, Krenitzin Islands., Aleutian Islands.

Local name published in 1951 on a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) map. "So called because of the talus (broken rock) accumulated on a slope at the point."
