Lava Point is located on NW coast of Akutan I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Descriptive name, reported by U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS) in 1902. It was called Flat Top by J. F. Moser, U.S. Navy (USN) in 1897.
