Description
Chunak Point is located at W entrance to Bechevin Bay, on NE coast of Unimak I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Aleut name published by Captain Lutke (1836, p. 263), Imperial Russian Navy (IRN), as "Tchounnok " and by Tebenkov (1852, map 24) as "M(ys) Chunok" or "Chunok Cape."
