Description
Promontory Cove is located on SW shore of Unimak Bight on S coast of Unimak I., Aleutian Islands.
History
Named in 1888 by U.S. Bureau of Fisheries (USBF); derived from nearby Promontory Cape which was later changed to Cape Lutke.
