Description
Pintlala Creek is located heads 2.7 km (1.7 mi) NW of Lapine, flows NW to Jones Bluff Lake on the Alabama River 17.7 km (11 mi) W of Montgomery.
History
Name from the Creek Indian word Pathlau-la or Pilth-lau-le, which means "fish creek swamp"; current spelling applied to stream in the early 1800's by Frenchman, Tourette
